The sensations of endless space, distant horizons and the never-ending sky are all phenomena in nature, which one especially encounters here in the southern part of Westjutland.The Waddensea and Marsh-land characterize the area.

Here you will find some of Westjutlands biggest and most famous holiday destinations, as for example Rømø, Fanø, Blåvand, Vejers Strand and Henne Strand.

Also in this area, you can find the oldest town in Denmark, namely Ribe, and the enterprising commercial towns of Esbjerg and Varde. Also the comfortable town of Tønder, which is famous for its Christmas market and festival, should be experienced.
