The Tile Collection describes the history of these antique tiles and was compiled by the artist Jørgen Hahn in Sønderho's old co-operative dairy (Denmark's smallest), now housing Café Nanas Stue.
From 1650 till 1910 sailors would bring dutch and frisian tiles for wall decoration with them home. These tiles are still a characteristic of Fanø interiors.
The museum is located in Sønderho and can be visited during the opening hours of the café.
