Countrysides
The countryside is important to West Jutlanders. While we are on the subject of natural surroundings, the North Sea itself is a very impressive sight – displaying its moods with majestic grace. The view, which encompasses wonderful, broad sandy beaches and high white dunes, is enough to take anyone’s breath away.
The countryside to the east of the North Sea is amongst the most varied in Denmark. The landscape varies greatly. There is everything from stretches of heathland with planted woods and inland dunes to fertile woods rich in flora and fauna, to flower-clad meadows cut by glittering lakes and twisting streams.
